A stroll through Lavaux

Nestled at the Lake Geneva between Vevey and Lutry the Lavaux vineyards not only invite you to a glass of white wine but also to enjoy the stunning views.

Surely, they are worth a visit every season of the year. Here you can indulge in the autumn nuances.

We speak yet another language here compared to Ticino and no, it is not “winish”, but French :0).

At this time of the year, everything else is grapes and wine, though, for the harvest has just taken place and the winemakers are crazily busy.

That must be why wine cellars are mainly closed right now and wine pit stops are rare, but luckily we stumble upon one.

You get a glimpse of how the Lavaux landscape and lakescape look like in the photograph above. Isn’t it mouthwatering? Yes, the Chasselas – the grape mainly grown here – and the Lake Geneva :-). So so picturesque. Here is some more.
