Growing

It’s been a while, my dear reader, how are you today?

Change is a constant and nature a very good teacher at it. In nature we can see it everyday or at least regularly. Spring is a wonderful season to be amazed by how something that looks bare and brownish changes into colors, flowers, leaves, and eventually fruits and offspring in animals.

What we are in now will pass and the idleness we might experience turns into flowing energy, excitement, action, and hopefully a new way of life. Just imagine how grateful we will be for a “simple” hug and meeting people freely again.

For now, many of us still need patience and perseverance. But nature takes place anyway. Just look around you or why not down to the ground, because it is that time of the year when the brown soil turns into a colourful wow. I caught some impressions on camera for you.

Surely, you all know snowdrops! Schneeglöckchen – as their German name goes – may cover many square meters with their fresh green and white as early as January.

Spring snowflakes (German: Märzenglöckchen) are slightly different. Can you see it?

Of course, it is not all green and white. What if we added some vivid purple and orange?

Whoa! Don’t you want to literally sit into this crocus and take a nap? It must be a bee’s heaven.

Imagine a whole garden full of them…

What a garden view!

Hopefully this inspires you to look around you – or down in that case. There is so much you can spot in places you may not have thought and what’s more just around your corner. Enjoy this unique time of the year in the Northern Hemisphere! I wish that it brings you joy and moments of ease.

Would you like to bath in some more spring and flowers? I invite you to check out Spring is coming and Flower Bouquet.

Do you enjoy these joyful images? Share them with someone you think needs some color and flowers right now!

Stay safe and sound. Together we will make it through this pandemic,

Daniela

PS: While I have been quieter in this space, I have been painting and handlettering a lot. To wrap today’s post up, I would love to send you a big virtual hug (which my lettered word stands for) I created last weekend for my loved ones. We are in this together, as we are in everything going on on this planet.

Take care.
